How Long at ACC: Since January of 2008
Growing Up:

I was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and lived there until I was about 7 years old. At that time, I moved to the United States and have lived in Washington ever since. I became a Christian as a result of my friend inviting me to a youth event and the continual and irresistible calling of the Holy Spirit.

Family:

I currently live with my parents; my mother Renata Mendenhall and my step-father Jim Mendenhall. My father, Rodrigo, currently lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Education: I am currently a senior at Kamiak High School; although, I participate full-time in a program called Running Start, where I attain both college and high school credits for classes I take at Edmonds CC.
I plan on advancing to college in the fall at the University of Washington to study philosophy; although, things are subject to change by the will of the Lord.
Activities/Hobbies

The majority of my free time is spent reading - I primarily enjoy reading books on theology and Christian living. I also enjoy spending time with friends.

Why ACC: I find it a church committed and dedicated to sound biblical teaching, which I greatly appreciate. I also love the fellowship and edification found amongst the believers.
Great Times at ACC:

All of the ASM trips and events- notably Shasta, the Mexico Mission Trips and Groovy Rollerskate Night.

Favorite Books: The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Thoughts for Young Men by J.C. Ryle
Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan and many more.
Favorite Music: My taste in music is diverse, going from Jazz to Dance music, from Dubstep to Ambient, and from Country to Folk. I tend to appreciate most music.
Mission Trips:

I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in two mission trips to Mexico, both of which I count as tremendous graces in my life so far.

Most proud of: My ability to eat enormous amounts of junk food and still not feel sick.
Remember me for:

I would like for the testimony of my life to fit the template of Hebrews 11, where one can say "By faith, Fellipe...." I desire to live my life as an offering for the Lord, where it is no longer I who live, but He who died living through me. I would like to be remembered for a commitment to the gospel.
