Spring Splatter (Junior Retreat)

Camping, team games, music, memories, and cozy cabins at Lake Retreat - a mountainous retreat center near Issaquah. Join other 2nd-5th grade students for a blast away from home, challenging discussions and meaningful relationships with caring leaders.

Family Camp (All ages) July 9-15, 2012
What do Alderwood kids love more than Christmas? FAMILY CAMP! Held at Warm Beach Campground, this is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year at Alderwood! Come for the whole week, the weekend, or even just for a day. All ages welcome! Questions? Contact Mark & Ann Thorsteinson.

Vacation Bible School
July 23-27, 2012
Children entering Kindergarten thru completed 4th grade will be inspired to go the distance with Joshua, the great champion of the Bible who points us to Jesus. Through Olympian's winning pentathlon of events, our coaches will challenge children to join God's team, and train them to run the race of faith with wholehearted obedience to God. We will have in-depth Bible lessons, challenging scripture memory, daily gospel presentation and meaningful service projects. Registration will begin in June.

Fall Fusion Retreat
For all you incoming 4th/5th grade students, we take you out of town on our Fusion Retreat in early fall! We like to start the new school year off right, so pack your bags and get ready for three days of excitement. We will have an awesome speakers, wacky games, hanging with friends, and great food all at scenic Miracle Ranch in Port Orchard. Fall 2012 date TBD...check back later!

Trunk-N-Treat
Alderwood's alternative to Halloween...held the evening of October 31st. Carnival games, inflatables, yummy food, and much more. This event is perfect for inviting your unchurched neighbors, friends, and family. The Pumpkin Cafe serves hot dogs, baked potatoes, chili and nachos at great low prices! Watch for details about our 2012 event...

Angel Breakfast
Second Saturday in December
We invite you to bring your 3-year-old thru kindergarten-aged child to our annual Breakfast With Angels. The morning includes a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs and hot cocoa served by “angels”, story time (including Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus), a photo opportunity, and craft. This is a great event for grandparents to bring their grandkids to! Tickets will go on sale in November.
